BHP power on Düsseldorf’s posh boulevard - in about three weeks time, on 6th April, DTM will be back in North Rhine-Westphalia’s capital to kick off its new season on Düsseldorf’s ‘Kö’. The preparations for the motor-racing spectacle in the sports city already are running flat out. Since Monday, Düsseldorf features the tallest Ralf Schumacher of the world - at a dizzy height and eight metres tall.

On Monday the preparation works for the season launch were started. The DTM welcome bridges already decorate the Königsallee and the pedestrian area to attract attention to the forthcoming event. Furthermore, a 15-squaremetre video wall will be erected this Thursday at the crossing Königsallee / Steinstraßenbrücke. This video wall will be used to show the highlights of the 2007 launch and the races of the past season.

In the ‘Rheinbahn’ and on the info screens of the stations, you also can take a look at short samples of last year’s DTM Launch. All these activities are accompanied by an extensive placard campaign in greater Düsseldorf. Furthermore, all those interested in getting into the right mood for the DTM Launch have the opportunity to attend the DTM touring exhibition being on display in the Düsseldorf city hall, since 5th March.

One week prior to its first race of the new season, on 6th April, DTM showcases itself on Düsseldorf’s Königsallee for motor-racing enthusiasts, experts and journalists. The event will begin at 13.00hrs, with the admission being free - just as it was the case in the previous years.
